C&rsquo;est peut-\u00eatre la raison pour laquelle nous ne nous attendions pas \u00e0 grand-chose &#8211; et aussi pourquoi nous sommes repartis assez impressionn\u00e9s par notre visite dans cette ville de la Dalmatie centrale. En fait, alors que \u0160ibenik ne se classe pas tout \u00e0 fait l\u00e0-haut avec <strong>Split<\/strong> ou <strong>Dubrovnik<\/strong>, je pense que c&rsquo;est tout aussi impressionnant que les villes beaucoup plus populaires de <strong>Trogir<\/strong> et <strong>Zadar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Qu&rsquo;est-ce qui rend \u0160ibenik impressionnant ? La cath\u00e9drale et l&rsquo;une des plus belles carr\u00e9s de Croatie<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>\u0160ibenik est surtout connue pour sa cath\u00e9drale, la cath\u00e9drale Saint-Jacques (Katedrala Sv Jakova). C&rsquo;est un site du patrimoine mondial de l&rsquo;UNESCO construit par les V\u00e9nitiens au 15\u00e8me (et 16\u00e8me si\u00e8cle car il a fallu plus de 100 ans pour le terminer) et est enti\u00e8rement en pierre. En fait, c&rsquo;est la seule cath\u00e9drale europ\u00e9enne construite uniquement en pierre. L&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur de la cath\u00e9drale est magnifique et la pi\u00e8ce ma\u00eetresse de l&rsquo;une des plus belles carr\u00e9s que nous ayons vues en Croatie. De l&rsquo;autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la se trouve l&rsquo;h\u00f4tel de ville, un b\u00e2timent de la Renaissance du XVIe si\u00e8cle qui semble avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 transplant\u00e9 de Forteresses<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>\u0160ibenik poss\u00e8de 4 forteresses &#8211; 3 en ville (toutes avec de superbes vues) et 1 \u00e0 quelques kilom\u00e8tres prot\u00e9geant le canal vers la ville. Deux des forteresses ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9nov\u00e9es, les deux autres ne le sont pas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La forteresse Saint-Michel<\/strong> est la forteresse que vous verrez sur la plupart de ces photos de cartes postales de \u0160ibenik. C&rsquo;est la plus accessible de toutes les forteresses (\u00e0 10 minutes \u00e0 pied de la place principale) et la plus populaire aupr\u00e8s des visiteurs. Il n&rsquo;y a pas grand-chose en fait, il est trop r\u00e9nov\u00e9 et entretenu \u00e0 mon go\u00fbt. MAIS il a une vue fantastique sur \u0160ibenik. Nous sommes repartis surpris et tr\u00e8s impressionn\u00e9s par notre visite. Outre la cath\u00e9drale, les forteresses et la beaut\u00e9 des rues, nous avons \u00e9galement appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 la g\u00e9ographie de la vieille ville avec ses collines, ses marches et ses nombreux points de vue. Nous avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9cid\u00e9 que nous reviendrions, peut-\u00eatre passer un week-end et assister \u00e0 un concert \u00e0 la forteresse Saint-Michel (ils y organisent des concerts de musique d&rsquo;\u00e9t\u00e9 qui, me dit-on, sont tr\u00e8s populaires).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr>\n<div class=\"content_hint\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<hr>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Informations pratiques<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; <strong>Bus<\/strong>. \u0160ibenik a des liaisons fr\u00e9quentes en bus. Il faut environ une heure pour s&rsquo;y rendre depuis Split. La gare est juste \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la vieille ville.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; <strong>Location de voiture<\/strong>. Nous avons lou\u00e9 une voiture et trouv\u00e9 un parking juste \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la gare routi\u00e8re. Avertissement pour les conducteurs : mauvaise signalisation et quelques ruelles tr\u00e8s \u00e9troites \u00e0 \u0160ibenik (si vous vous perdez comme moi. C&rsquo;\u00e9tait un peu un cauchemar). Si vous ne connaissez pas \u0160ibenik, je pense qu&rsquo;il est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de garer la voiture quelque part et d&rsquo;explorer la ville \u00e0 pied.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; <strong>Visite des forteresses<\/strong>. Vous pouvez marcher jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 Saint-Michel depuis la vieille ville. Barone et St. John&rsquo;s sont un peu plus loin (\u00e0 15 minutes \u00e0 pied) &#8211; mais vous pouvez conduire jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 Barone (par une voie tr\u00e8s \u00e9troite), vous garer et explorer les deux forteresses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8211; <strong>Logemen<\/strong>t.
